Job summary

Hope Homecare is seeking compassionate Home Care Workers to join our nurse-led team and support adults and children in their own homes, promoting independence, dignity and person-centred care.

You will provide practical and emotional support, maintain wellbeing and safety, complete accurate care records, and work with families and healthcare professionals. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.
• Right to work in the UK is required.
• Previous care experience is welcome but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and continence care
• Support service users with mobility, moving and handling, and safe use of equipment
• Assist with medication administration and monitor service user wellbeing
• Support individuals with complex care needs following full training provided by the company
• Prepare meals and assist with nutrition and hydration
• Provide companionship and emotional support to service users
• Maintain accurate care records and report concerns appropriately
• Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for service users
• Work closely with families, healthcare professionals, and the wider care team
• A caring, compassionate, and reliable attitude
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
