Job summary

Midlothian Council invites applications for a Care at Home Support Worker to provide person-centred care in service users' own homes across Midlothian. The role focuses on independence, dignity and wellbeing, requiring PVG clearance and a suitable care background.

Hours are part-time (21 hours/week) with a 4 days on/4 days off rota. The position is permanent, with pay at the first salary point on the scale and a salary around the shown minimum.

Qualifications

• SVQ II in Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
• Experience delivering Individual Care Plans in a supportive role.
• PVG scheme membership required for Regulated Work with Protected Adults.
