Job summary

Bluebird Care Bath & NE Somerset is seeking a caring and dedicated Care Professional to support customers in their homes across Bath and surrounding areas. You will provide high-quality, person-centered care, assist with daily activities and work within a supportive team to maintain independence and dignity for clients.

The role offers a competitive hourly rate (£14.27–£21.40) with a £500 joining bonus, guaranteed hours, flexible shift patterns, paid travel time, and uniforms/PPE provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care.
• Great communication skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to follow care plans.
• Previous care experience is beneficial but not required as full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, tailored care to each person.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
• Help with meal preparation and nutrition.
• Support with medication management and safe disposal.
• Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and cleaning.
• Be a dependable, friendly face for customers.
