Job summary

AQS Homecare is seeking friendly Home Carers to support clients in the Southampton area (SO18 and SO19). No formal qualifications are required, but a compassionate nature and a wish to make a difference are essential. Training will be provided and an Enhanced DBS check is required.

We offer paid training, DBS clearance, a friendly local management team, a supportive work environment, and options such as cycle-to-work schemes. Driving licence with access to a vehicle is preferred.

Qualifications

• Compassionate nature and understanding of client group
• Willingness to make a difference in others' lives
• Full driving license; access to own vehicle preferred
• Bike riders welcome; cycle-to-work scheme available

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to clients in their own homes
• Support clients to participate in activities, shopping trips, and social occasions
• Assist with light housework and food preparation as needed
• Follow care plans and report changes to the supervisor
