Job summary

Helping Hands in Bath is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to support clients in their own homes with warmth and professionalism. No prior care experience is required as full training is provided, and flexible shifts help you balance your life while delivering outstanding support.

You will help with personal care, mobility, household tasks and errands, working within a caring, respectful team that values dignity and independence for clients.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Right to Work in the UK.

• Reliability, compassion and the confidence to support others with dignity.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs to keep customers safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that helps customers feel truly cared for.
