Job summary

Helping Hands in the United Kingdom is hiring a Care Assistant to support people in their own homes, helping them live well, stay independent and feel safe. No previous care experience is required; we’ll provide full training, support and confidence to thrive.

You’ll need a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, be reliable, kind and adaptable, with a willingness to learn. Flexible shifts, paid mileage, a pension and holiday entitlement are offered, along with ongoing training

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs, helping customers stay safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that helps customers feel truly cared for.
