Job summary

Connected Health is seeking a Care Assistant in South Belfast to provide in-home support with a focus on dignity and quality of life. No prior experience required as accredited training and ongoing development are provided. You will work in clients’ homes across BT8 areas and surrounding neighbourhoods.

We offer competitive pay up to £14.10 per hour, flexible full- and part-time shifts, and a supportive team with recognition and rewards. A driver’s licence and access to a car are required.

Qualifications

• Good standard of English, both written and spoken.
• Must have a valid driver’s licence and access to your own car.
• Available to work alternative weekends and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support in line with each service user’s care plan.
• Respect dignity, independence and choices of service users.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients, families, colleagues and health professionals.
• Report changes in a service user’s condition to the supervisor.
• Follow Connected Health policies, procedures, Health and Safety guidelines and on-call instructions.
• Complete all required documentation, including care records and timesheets.
• Attend induction, training and supervision sessions as required.
• Develop knowledge and skills through ongoing training and experience.
• Undertake additional duties as requested by the Service Manager.
