Job summary

Caremark Elderslie is seeking warm, compassionate Care Assistants to support clients in Renfrewshire and East Renfrewshire. You will provide personalised, one-to-one care in customers' homes, promote independence and dignity, and travel within the area to deliver care.

We offer full training, practical induction, flexible part-time hours at £14 per hour, paid holidays, and access to pension schemes. Experience is welcome but not required as training is provided.

Qualifications

• Caring, kind, and sensitive nature.
• Flexible, reliable and well-organised.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Experience welcome but not essential; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide washing, bathing & dressing support.
• Assist with shopping and meal preparation.
• Prompt and support with medication.
• Support daily routines and wellbeing.
• Provide respite care where needed.
• Offer companionship and social activities.
• Help clients access their local community.
• Assist with light domestic tasks.
