Job summary

Abacare Swansea (Part of CCH Group) in Neath & Port Talbot is seeking a Care Assistant to visit vulnerable adults in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and dignity.

You’ll help with morning routines, meals, medication prompting, and provide companionship. We offer full, paid training, total flexibility in rota, mileage allowance, and competitive hourly pay across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Helping someone get ready for the day with a bright 'good morning' (assisting with washing and dressing).
• Preparing a hearty breakfast or lunch.
• Prompting medication.
• Providing a listening ear, a friendly chat, and a bit of much-needed companionship.
• Stability & support: part of the UK's largest home care provider, with a friendly Swansea branch network.
• Mileage paid to keep our drivers moving.
• No Car? We have walking routes available, walkers are welcomed.
