Job summary

ICare Group is recruiting a Home Care Assistant in Huyton and the wider Knowsley area. A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential, as you will travel between clients' homes to provide compassionate care in their own homes.

Expect flexible hours, earning £13.45–£13.70 per hour, with benefits including a welcome bonus and mileage coverage. Training and support are provided to help you succeed in this rewarding role.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Have access to your own vehicle.
• Be able to travel throughout the Huyton and Knowsley area.
• Be willing to obtain Class 1 Business Insurance if not already in place.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care with dignity, respect and compassion
• Supporting with washing, dressing and daily routines
• Assisting with meal preparation and nutrition
• Providing medication prompts and support in line with care plans
• Carrying out wellbeing and safety checks
• Supporting with light household tasks and maintaining a comfortable home environment

• Promoting independence, choice and person-centred care
• Working as part of a supportive and dedicated care team
• Travelling between clients' homes across the local community
