Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain the dignity and respect of patients at all times.
• Assist in the admission process by recording patient demographics accurately.
• Assist patients with personal and oral hygiene as instructed.
• Assist patients with eating and drinking.
• Monitor and record dietary and fluid intake and report abnormalities to the nurse in charge.
• Enable patients to access toilet facilities and collect/dispose of waste.
• Test blood sugars, urine and stool specimens and record results.
• Assist with indwelling catheter removal as required.
