Nursing Direct is seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to support residents in Salisbury and surrounding areas. You will provide personal care, assist with mobility and meals, and help create a safe, respectful environment.

Candidates with at least 1 year UK care experience, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel locally will thrive. DBS on Update Service preferred, UK work rights required, flexible shifts offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a UK care setting (care home, homecare, nursing home).
• Caring, compassionate and professional approach to residents.
• Able to adapt to changing care needs and work effectively in a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Right to work in the UK and DBS on Update Service or willing to apply.

Responsabilités

• Providing personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Supporting mobility and ensuring safety at all times.
• Assisting with nutrition and hydration during meals.
• Promoting independence, dignity and choice for residents.
• Encouraging social interaction and participation in activities.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health or wellbeing.
• Maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable environment.
• Communicating with nurses, carers, families and other staff.
