Job summary

Qualifications

• Right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Care, healthcare, support work or life experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, respectful and reliable.
• Flexible across shifts and environments.
• Commitment to safeguarding and person-centred care.
• Ability to follow care plans and complete accurate records.
• Up-to-date training or willingness to complete mandatory training.
• Willingness to complete recruitment and compliance checks.
• Desirable experience in care settings; knowledge of Scottish standards.
• PVG or willingness to apply; moving/handling and infection control training.

Responsibilities

• Support meals, hydration, nutrition, and daily needs.
• Observe and report changes in health, mood or wellbeing.

• Follow care plans, risk assessments, policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with nurses, care staff, families and professionals.
• Follow infection prevention and safeguarding procedures.
• Maintain professional conduct and reliability at all times.
