Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking experienced Health Care Assistants to join the team at Frimley Park Hospital. You will support the nursing staff in patient care and help ensure the smooth running of the ward across clinical directorates.

This role requires excellent spoken and written English and current UK healthcare experience. The Trust offers training, development, flexible working patterns, and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Requires high level of spoken and written English.
• Current experience in UK healthcare setting as an HCA is required.
• Front-facing clinical role with patient care responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Undertake clinical activities including collection of urine and faecal samples, swabs, fluid intake/output, catheter care, vital signs, NEWS2 scoring; inform nurse of changes.
• Care for enhanced observation patients (1:1) or bay-based observation as required.
• Assist professionals in implementing plans of care for individual patients.
• Assist patients to eat and drink, including menu selection and dietary requirements.
• Help patients maintain personal hygiene.
• Assist in safe patient movement using equipment after mobility assessment.
