St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in London, based in Tooting, invites applications for a Band 3 Health Care Assistant on Trevor Howell Ward. You will support qualified nurses with holistic patient care and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The role covers assisting with bathing, meals, observations and basic procedures, with training provided. It is a full-time, permanent position with NHS visa guidance; flexible to nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Provide high quality, holistic patient care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Assist nursing staff with bathing, feeding, and mobility as required.
• Be flexible to night shifts, weekends and bank holidays.
• Hold Care Certificate or demonstrate equivalent experience.
• Applicants must have at least 12 months remaining on their visa at start of employment.

Responsabilités

• Feeding patients and supporting nutrition.
• Washing and repositioning patients.
• Completing observations such as pulse, BP and temperature.
• Venepuncture and cannulation with training.
• Providing emotional support to patients and families.
