University Hospitals Dorset is recruiting Band 3 Health Care Assistants to join the nursing team at the Regional Vascular Unit in Bournemouth. The role is 37.5 hours per week with a mix of shifts including weekdays, weekends, nights and bank holidays, offered as a permanent post with either full-time or part-time hours.

You will need numeracy and literacy skills, a Care certificate, and the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide compassionate, patient-centred care to

Qualifications

• Good standard of numeracy and literacy.
• Completion of a Care certificate.
• Short courses to undertake patient and clinical care duties
• Short course to undertake Enhanced Therapeutic Care

Responsabilités

• Work as an effective team member under supervision providing dignified, compassionate and safe care.
• Maintain high standards of patient documentation.
• Deliver care across a range of patients and settings as required.
• Undertake Enhanced Therapeutic Observation Care (1:1 or cohort).
• Be flexible to service needs across UHD locations.
