Job summary

Confidential in Oxford seeks compassionate Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants to provide personalised care in home care, assisted living and care homes for seniors, including those with dementia.

You will assist with daily living, meals and medication administration, maintain records, and work with health professionals to implement care plans. In-person, full-time and part-time shifts available, with weekend work as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient care for seniors preferred.
• Knowledge of dementia care principles is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and assistance with daily living activities.
• Offer dementia care and ensure a safe environment for clients.
• Assist with meal preparation and nutrition according to dietary needs.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health status.
• Engage in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and observations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
