Job summary

The Orders of St John Care Trust is seeking a Learning Disability Support Worker in Hazlemere, High Wycombe. The role focuses on assisting residents with daily routines, personal care, and meaningful activities to promote wellbeing.

You will contribute to a warm, compassionate home environment, carrying out light household tasks and supporting residents and colleagues to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Diploma/NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable or you may work towards it.
• Proven track record in elderly care and commitment to high quality care standards for older people.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude to learn and grow within the role.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with daily routines and personal care.
• Provide companionship and join in with activities in the home.
• Carry out light household duties to keep residents' rooms clean and tidy.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure residents receive warm, compassionate care.
