Job summary

Orders of St. John Care Trust in Aylesbury is seeking a committed Support Worker to help residents with daily routines, personal care and companionship in our care homes. You will join a warm, supportive team dedicated to high-quality, person-centred care.

Ideally you’ll hold a Diploma/NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or be working towards it. The role offers development and training in a nurturing environment, with a focus on resident well-being and safety.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to communicate effectively with residents, relatives and colleagues.
• Ability to work well as part of a care team in a busy environment.
• Willingness to pursue further training in health and social care.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily routines and personal care.
• Provide companionship and support participation in activities.
• Carry out light household duties to keep rooms clean and tidy.
• Work with the care team to deliver high-quality care and a safe environment.
