Brook Street Health Care is seeking a Health Care Assistant in the CF83 area. You will support elderly residents in nursing homes with daily living needs, including personal care, mobility and safety. Roles include long days, night shifts, and AM/PM splits, with agency variety across clients.

The position requires 6 months UK-based care experience, DBS and reference checks, and eligibility to work in the UK. Weekly PAYE pay, holiday pay separation, and ongoing training are provided.

Formación

• 6 months UK-based care experience in the last year OR a year in the last 5 years.
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not offered).
• Willing to undergo DBS and reference checks.
• Willing to undertake personal care tasks.
• Be approachable, friendly, proactive and engage with services users.
• Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide support and care to elderly residents in nursing homes.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, toileting and dressing as needed.
• Promote independence and maintain residents' safety and dignity.
• Support residents with mental health, dementia, learning disabilities and physical health.
• Collaborate with a team and participate in a variety of client settings via agency work.
