Guardian Homecare is hiring for a domiciliary care role in Basildon and nearby areas. You will visit clients in their own homes, providing personal care, meals, light housekeeping and companionship while supporting independence.

Training is provided, with shifts from early mornings to evenings. A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential to travel between client visits. We are an equal opportunities employer and offer career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• No previous professional care experience required; transferable skills from customer service, retail or hospitality are welcome.
• Experience supporting a family member can be valuable for this role.
• Training and ongoing support will help you develop care skills.
• A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential for travelling between client visits.

Responsabilités

• Visit people in their own homes as part of domiciliary care.
• Provide personal care with dignity and privacy.
• Assist with meals, shopping, light housekeeping and laundry.
• Support independence and mobility with guidance from care plans.
• Encourage social interaction and companionship.
• Observe wellbeing and report concerns to the branch.
