Job summary

Unique Home Care NI LTD is recruiting a part-time Domiciliary Care Assistant to join our Bangor team, delivering compassionate in-home care to clients in their own homes. This role involves assisting with daily living tasks, personal care, medication prompts, and building trusting relationships with clients and their families, following care plans and recording notes accurately.

Shifts include Monday 2:30pm-5:30pm, Tuesday 10am-5:30pm, Thursday 10am-5:30pm and Friday 2:30pm-5:30pm; driving

Qualifications

Demonstrated time management and organisational abilities.
Clear and compassionate communication with clients and families.
Reliable, accountable, and able to work independently.
Willingness to perform personal care and daily living activities.

Responsibilities

Improve quality of life with tasks such as housekeeping and shopping
Deliver personal care.
Administer medication.
To monitor the safety and wellbeing of the person.
To build positive relationships with the person and their families.
Use personal care plans to deliver a person centred service.
To be responsible for adult support and protection.
To monitor the person's care needs, and report any required changes for the care plan.
To maintain good quality records and notes.
To ensure equipment is being used effectively.
To work in partnership with colleagues within the organisation.
