Job summary

Healthcare Ireland Group is seeking a Domestic Assistant for its Holywood care home near Belfast. The role supports the Housekeeper to maintain a clean, welcoming environment for 56 residents, across 6 small group living settings with dementia and non-dementia care.

The position runs 30 hours per week, 9:00am to 3:30pm, five days. Responsibilities include hygiene, cleaning, reporting maintenance needs, and following COSHH regulations.

Qualifications

• A good standard of both verbal and written English
• Relevant experience for the role
• The Right to Work in the UK

Responsibilities

• Ensure the expected cleanliness and hygiene standards are achieved throughout the home
• Cover domestic duties as assigned
• Identify and report any damage, faults or other issues to maintenance or management
• Adhere to the cleaning and auditing schedule
• Use and store cleaning products in accordance to COSHH regulations
• Undertake any other duties that may be reasonably required as designated by the Home Manager or Housekeeper.
