Job summary

Prime Life is seeking a Day Care Assistant to join the team at Westerlands Care Village, Brough. The role offers set shifts between 8am and 8pm across a 7-day week, with excellent benefits and fully funded DBS support.

Applicants with prior care experience are welcome; full training is provided to help you support residents with age-related conditions, disabilities and dementia with dignity and respect.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and evening routines.
• Complete routine welfare checks during the night.
• Support residents to dine and stay hydrated.
• Encourage safe mobility with aids and equipment.
• Provide friendship and companionship to residents.
• Maintain accurate and timely written records and documentation.
• Engage with a multi-disciplinary team to promote residents' well-being.
• Welcome family members and assist with enquiries.
