Job summary

Prime Life is seeking dedicated Care Assistants for maternity cover at Westerlands Care Village in Brough. The role involves supporting residents with personal care, meals, mobility, and wellbeing, with a strong emphasis on dignity and respect.

Training is provided, and there are opportunities for progression within a supportive team. We offer varying shifts between 8am and 8pm, a fully funded DBS, holiday pay, and a Refer a Friend scheme, along with Blue Light Card access.

Qualifications

• Must have genuine caring nature and desire to make a real difference for residents.
• Full training provided; prior care experience desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and bedtime routines.
• Conduct welfare checks during night shifts to ensure safety and well-being.
• Support residents to dine and maintain good nutrition and hydration.
• Encourage safe mobility with aids and equipment.
• Provide companionship and friendship to residents.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to promote residents’ health and well-being.
• Greet and assist family members visiting the home.
