Job summary

Libertatem Healthcare Group is seeking support workers to join our team in Cwmbran, Monmouthshire on a bank basis. The role involves assisting a client with complex needs related to spinal injury, mobility, continence care and emotional support, with flexible day and waking/sleep shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in caring for individuals with complex needs.
• Clear communication and empathetic, patient approach.
• Flexibility to cover day and waking/sleep shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supporting, and engaging with personalised routines inclusive of hoists.
• Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
• Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
• Providing emotional support and companionship.
• Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting changes in clients’ conditions.
• Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
