Job summary

ICCM Ltd. is seeking a caring Complex Care Assistant to support a 20-year-old client in a 2:1 care package at her family home in Northampton. The role involves personal care, PEG feeding, seizure monitoring, moving and handling, and engaging activities with the client.

Full training will be provided, and a DBS check is covered. Weekday and weekend daytime shifts are available; non-smoker and comfortable with a dog in the home are required.

Qualifications

• No complex care experience required; full training and ongoing clinical support.
• Non-smoker.
• Comfortable working in a home with a pet dog.
• Available for both weekday and weekend day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care.
• Administer PEG feeding and medications.
• Monitor and manage seizures.
• Assist with moving and handling.
• Suctioning as required.
• Engage in sensory play, arts and crafts, story time and outings.
