Home care is seeking compassionate community carers to provide essential support to individuals in need across the country. You will help with daily living activities, offer companionship, and monitor health as part of a dedicated team.

This role is nationally applicable and offers a range of shifts, including evenings and weekends, with pay from £12.71 to £14.50 per hour. Prior caregiving experience is preferred but training is provided.

Formación

• Caregiving experience preferred but training provided.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to follow care plans and health and safety regulations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Driving license and access to a vehicle is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health or behaviour.
• Help with mobility and physical exercises to promote physical well-being.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report concerns to staff.
• Ensure a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
• Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in hobbies or interests.
