Job summary

Avon Search is recruiting a Community Healthcare Assistant in Southport to provide high-quality, in-home care to adults. You will support with personal care, daily living activities, meals, medication; promote independence and wellbeing in clients' own homes.

The role offers contracted hours, part-time hours, and a generous mileage allowance of 25p per mile. In this position you will work across the Southport area with a friendly, supportive care team and comprehensive induction and ongoing

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is desirable but not essential, as full training is provided
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle
• Flexible to work contracted shifts between 7:00am and 9:30pm

Responsibilities

• Providing compassionate care and support in clients' homes
• Assisting with personal care and daily living activities
• Supporting with medication where appropriate and following training
• Preparing meals and encouraging good nutrition and hydration
• Assisting with shopping, light housekeeping, and domestic tasks
• Supporting clients to attend appointments and remain active within their community
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Promoting independence, dignity, and choice at all times
• Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns
