Job summary

Mears Group PLC is seeking a Female Domiciliary Care Worker to join our Bristol team. A driving license and access to a car are essential as workers visit service users in their homes across the Lawrence Weston and Shirehampton area.

The role offers a zero hour contract with a competitive hourly rate of £13.45 plus 35p per mile. No experience is required as full training is provided, and we support carers with a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Full training will be provided.
• UK Driving Licence required.
• Willingness to work alternative weekends.
• Empathy, compassion and caring towards service users.
• Female applicants only due to personal care needs.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care to support independence.
• Assisting with washing, dressing and meals.
• Prompting and assistance with taking medication.
• Light household tasks and cleaning.
• Gardening if required.
• Budgeting for finances.
• Shopping and day trips to the beach.
• Offering companionship and helping build confidence.
