Job summary

Turning Point is seeking a caring care assistant to support adults with learning disabilities across a 24-hour service in England. The role requires flexibility across shifts from early to late, and a driver is noted as essential for consideration.

You will assist with personal care, meals, medication support, and maintain records while promoting health, safety and engagement in daily life.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care needs.
• Preparing food with involvement when preferred.
• Supporting residents with food and drinks.
• Manual handling where needed.
• Supporting medication including creams and lotions.
• Maintaining records, including finances for audits.
• Helping manage money safely.
• Keeping living spaces clean and tidy.
• Ensuring health and safety is maintained.
• Providing engaging activities to keep residents stimulated.
• Liaising with landlord about tenancies and repairs.
