Job summary

Cygnet Group operates a residential healthcare service at Dene Brook in Rotherham, caring for people with learning disabilities, complex needs and autism. This role is for a Care & Support Worker on a full-time rota, providing person-centred care and empowering service users in their daily lives.

You’ll work 42 hours weekly with 12-hour shifts, including alternate weekends and night duties. The role includes DBS checks and opportunities for progression and wellbeing benefits.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support
• Learn about individuals' specific needs and provide help in the most appropriate way
• Assist with and report on medical and welfare needs

• Maintain a safe, clean environment for all
• Supporting service users to access the community to attend work, college, hobbies and activities, days out and holidays
• Supporting service users to grow, develop and learn through engaging them in tasks such as cooking and cleaning
