Job summary

CCH Group in Gloucester is hiring Care Professionals to provide compassionate support to service users across our Extra Care scheme. You will assist with daily living tasks, companionship, personal care, meals and mobility, in a warm, respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in effective communication across all levels.
• Demonstrates sincere interest in working with our client group.
• Successfully passed DBS screening.
• Patience, compassion & a positive attitude.
• Demonstrate eagerness to engage in vocational training programs, continually enhancing skills and knowledge.
• Display initiative and autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Companionship – being a friendly face and preventing loneliness.
• Personal Care – assist with all aspects of personal hygiene.
• Medication – collecting prescriptions and providing reminders.
• Mealtimes – preparing meals.
• Housekeeping – keeping the home in order.
• Mobility – help with getting around.
