Job summary

Home Instead Newport is seeking a Care Assistant for a part-time role with flexible shifts. You will build strong relationships with clients through minimum 1-hour visits, providing companionship, light homemaking, and care support.

We offer full training and NVQ development, with travel to clients in Newport and surrounding areas. A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle are required to join the Home Instead family.

Qualifications

• Experience in care is welcomed; full training provided.
• Ability to document daily activities accurately.
• Willing to travel to client locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and support with daily living tasks.
• Assist with errands, light housekeeping, and meal reminders.
• Document visits and report changes to the supervisor.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and clean home environment.
