Job summary

Silver Blue Services Ltd t/a Springday Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to provide person-centred care and practical support to individuals who may be elderly, disabled, or have health needs.

You will work closely with families and other health professionals, maintain care records, promote independence, dignity and wellbeing, and ensure safeguarding and infection-control practices are followed.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care and supporting individuals with daily living tasks is beneficial.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow health and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care, personal care, daily living activities and mobility support.
• Administer or support medication in line with care plans and policies.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing.
• Monitor and report changes in health.
• Assist with appointments, activities and community involvement.
• Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans.
• Safeguard individuals from abuse, neglect and harm.
• Collaborate with families, nurses, social workers and other professionals.
