Job summary

Hartford Care Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for Moorhill Care Home in Southampton, Hampshire. Full-time and part-time roles are available, including alternate weekend working.

You will maintain a clean, safe and welcoming home, support hygiene standards, and help with cleaning logs as part of a caring team. A compassionate nature and attention to detail are essential, with DBS checks part of onboarding.

Qualifications

Compassionate and caring nature required.
Excellent communication skills and ability to use IT systems.
Good organisation and planning skills.
High attention to detail and commitment to highest standards.
Understanding of health and safety as well as infection control and COSHH procedures.
Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Flexible approach to working hours.

Responsibilities

Keep the home clean and safe at all times, meeting hygiene standards.
Dusting resident rooms, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining cleanliness of the environment.
Complete cleaning logs and contribute to a happy, caring atmosphere.
