Martins House in Stevenage is seeking a dedicated housekeeping assistant to keep resident spaces clean, fresh and safe. You will clean patient rooms, corridors, bathrooms, and communal areas, following COSHH guidelines and ensuring confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role/ industry preferred, although not essential.

Responsibilities

• To clean allocated rooms including furniture, fittings, fabric, carpets and equipment.
• Cleaning bathrooms and toilets with attention to guidelines for the control of germs and infestation.
• Ensure rooms are odour free.
• Be aware of the COSHH health and safety statements.
• Deal with waste bags and their prescribed disposal.
• Be familiar with required care standards regulations governing your job.
• Maintain client and business confidentiality at all times.
