Job summary

The Fairlie Healthcare Group is seeking an outstanding Domestic Cleaner to join our team across three care homes in West Norwood, Purley and Banstead. You will perform daily, weekly and monthly cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, clinical rooms and communal areas to high standards.

We offer paid breaks, onsite parking and a company pension. No specific qualifications are required, but cleaning experience is beneficial; full training will be provided and a DBS check will be part of the process.

Qualifications

• No specific qualifications are needed for this role, although some experience of cleaning and working within a laundry environment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Make sure cleaning work schedule is adhered to and tasks are completed to quality standards.
• Demonstrate courtesy, consideration and kindness when working with residents.
• Work effectively within the Housekeeping Team and uphold the home's core Values.
• Coordinate with management to deal with unexpected cleaning tasks within the home.
• Store cleaning materials correctly as required by COSHH and keep equipment in good order.
• Carry out all safety measures including COSHH-related training, infection prevention and fire safety.
