Job summary

Healthcare Ireland Group is seeking a Domestic Assistant at Holmes Court in Ballymena to support the Housekeeper and maintain a clean, welcoming home for residents. The role focuses on hygiene, safety, and resident wellbeing.

You will work with care teams to keep rooms tidy, assist with duties, and follow COSHH and schedules. Previous care home experience and Right to Work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• English language: good verbal and written skills.
• Relevant experience for the role in a care setting preferred.
• The Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the home.
• Cover domestic duties as assigned.
• Identify and report damages, faults or issues to maintenance or management.
• Adhere to the cleaning and auditing schedule.
• Use and store cleaning products per COSHH regulations.
• Undertake any other duties as designated by the Home Manager or Housekeeper.
