Avery Healthcare Group is hiring a Care Assistant for Waterhouse Manor Care Home in Peterborough. You will deliver compassionate personal care and support the care team to maintain continuous high-quality services for residents.

We value empathy, reliability and a respectful approach. An induction and training programme is provided, with a DBS disclosure check funded by Avery and eligibility to work in the UK required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrate initiative and be respectful towards residents and others in the home.
• Efficient, able to follow instructions from team members and work independently.
• Adaptable and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care to residents, supporting the care team to ensure continuity of services.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene to promote independence, dignity and respect.
• Identify and raise any clinical risks such as weight loss, pressure sores or infection signs in a timely manner.
