Avery Healthcare Group is recruiting a Care Assistant for Elvy Court Care Home in Sittingbourne, Kent. You will join a warm, enthusiastic team delivering high standards of personal care and supporting residents in a caring environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrate initiative and respect towards residents and colleagues.
• Efficient, able to follow instructions from team members.
• Flexible to cover short-notice shifts and varied duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of personal care and support the care team to ensure continuity of services for residents.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene ensuring dignity and independence.
• Identify and escalate clinical risks (weight loss, pressure ulcers, falls, infections) promptly.
• Interact courteously with residents and visitors, upholding dignity and individuality.
• Follow safe working practices across all tasks.
