Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living activities such as washing, toileting, dressing, and mobility.
• Provide care to meet physical, emotional and spiritual needs while maintaining comfort and dignity.
• Assist residents with limited mobility and use aids effectively.
• Monitor residents who are confused or have behavioural changes and report as needed.
• Contribute to continence promotion and end-of-life care when required.
• Record daily care notes in line with care plans and policies.
• Support social activities and hobbies within the home.
• Answer nurse calls, door, and phone promptly and relay messages as required.
