Job summary

Comfort Call, part of the CCH Group, is recruiting Care Assistants to support service users across Washington. We offer local work, guaranteed hours, and paid mileage, with full and part-time patterns available. Training is funded and progression opportunities exist within the UK’s largest care company.

You’ll provide compassionate, person-centred care in clients’ homes, helping with daily living tasks, mobility, medication, and companionship, while promoting independence and safety.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of social care experience.
• Heart of gold and ability to sprinkle kindness.
• Willingness to travel between local clients within the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential care and support in clients' homes following personalised care plans.
• Assist with personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming).
• Assist with medication preparation and safe administration.
• Help with mobility and use of aids; support rehabilitation after hospital stays.
• Prepare meals and snacks; offer mealtime support.
• Carry out light domestic duties (laundry, bed making).
• Provide companionship and build meaningful relationships.
• Promote independence; respect dignity and choice.
