Job summary

Caremark is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and within their own homes. The successful candidate will assist with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure well-being, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives while developing valuable skills in the healthcare sector.

You will work with the Management Team to follow care plans, maintain records, and communicate with clients,

Qualifications

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support clients with mobility and transfer activities, ensuring safety at all times.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding, respecting dietary requirements and preferences.
• Aid in medication management and administration as per care plans.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided, adhering to organisational policies.
• Follow care plans meticulously to meet individual needs and preferences.
• Assist with light domestic tasks to ensure a clean and comfortable living space.
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
