Job summary

Mersey Parks Care Home in Toxteth, Liverpool, is hiring a Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing. This full-time day-shift role offers 44 contracted hours per week, DBS and uniform provided, and aims to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in a supportive team.

You will follow care plans, work closely with colleagues, and have access to training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in care is beneficial but not essential.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• SVQ/NVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living assistance to residents.
• Support mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing of residents.
• Follow care plans and monitor changes in condition.
• Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm environment for residents.
