Qualifications

• Experience in a care home or similar setting.
• Experience supporting individuals living with dementia is desirable.
• Compassionate, person-centred approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents.
• Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.
• Support residents with mobility and independence.
• Follow individual routines and preferences for each resident.
• Administer medication where trained and authorised to do so.
• Maintain accurate care records and documentation.
• Promote residents' dignity, choice and independence.
• Create a safe, calm, and positive environment.
• Encourage social interaction and resident engagement.
• Support residents' emotional wellbeing and quality of life.
• Work closely with colleagues to uphold high standards of care.
