Job summary

Beaufort Park Retirement Village in Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset, is hiring a Care Assistant. No care experience is needed as full training is provided; you will support residents with daily living, personal care and companionship.

The role offers 36 hours per week with alternating weekends, day and night shifts, a refer-a-friend bonus, and benefits including pension, on-demand pay and discount schemes.

Qualifications

• No experience needed – full training provided.
• Compassionate, patient and great with people.
• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK (we cannot currently offer sponsorship).
• Able to work alternate weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal care and support to residents.
• Assist with medication administration and recording.
• Support residents with daily living activities and routines.
• Build meaningful relationships and provide companionship.
• Help enrich residents' lives through activities, hobbies, and social engagement.
• Promote residents' dignity, independence, and well-being.
• Work as part of a caring team to deliver outstanding person-centred care
