Job summary

TTL Recruit Ltd. is seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to deliver high-quality support in care homes and home care settings across the United Kingdom. You will help with daily activities, support care plans, and promote wellbeing with professionalism and empathy.

The role is offered as full-time or part-time, permanent or temporary, and requires DBS clearance and a Moving and Handling certificate. A valid UK work authorisation is required, with driving (preferred) for transport support.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work well within a team and independently when needed.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in following care plans.
• Enhanced DBS is required, Moving and Handling Certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
• Support the implementation of individualised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity
• Maintain accurate records of care provided, adhering to organisational policies and procedures
• Assist with light domestic duties including meal preparation and light cleaning
• Support clients with medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals
• Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and team members to ensure seamless care delivery
• Drive or accompany clients to appointments or outings when required (driving skills are advantageous)
