Job summary

Alderbrook Care Home in Leeds is seeking a Care Assistant to support residents with complex needs, including dementia and long-term health challenges. This hands-on role focuses on safe, person-centred care that promotes dignity and wellbeing.

You will work with the wider team, follow care plans and routines, and build trusting relationships with residents. Full-time hours are available across days and nights, with DBS paid and benefits including pension, uniform, and onsite parking.

Qualifications

• Care Assistant role supporting individuals with complex needs including dementia and mental health.
• Focus on safe, consistent, person-centred care that promotes dignity and wellbeing.
• NVQ2 in Health & Social Care preferred or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with a range of complex needs, following care plans and routines.
• Build positive relationships with residents and respond to changes in wellbeing.
• Deliver care safely and with patience, supporting both physical and emotional needs.
