Job summary

Helping Hands is hiring a Care Assistant in Nottingham to provide compassionate, home-based support. No prior care experience is required as full training is provided. A full UK driving licence to access client homes is essential, and you will work with flexible shifts to fit your lifestyle.

As part of a purpose-driven team, you’ll help customers live independently, feel safe, and receive quality care. Training, holidays and a pension are offered as part of ongoing career development.

Qualifications

• No experience needed; full training provided.
• Must have a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Right to Work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, meaningful companionship to customers in their own homes.
• Support with personal care, including washing, bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Assist with mobility needs, helping customers stay safe and confident.
• Oversee and administer medication in line with care plans.
• Help with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and meal preparation.
• Run essential errands, from food shopping to collecting prescriptions.
• Offer calm, considerate support that helps customers feel truly cared for.
